Lash Extensions

Unlike gluing a strip of temporary fake lashes onto your lash line, lash extensions are semi-permanent synthetic, faux mink, or silk fibers that Sage will hand-glue, one at a time, to your natural lashes. This can add definition to your eyes and add length, volume, and curl to your lashes all while maintaining a very natural-looking appearance. Because they do not come in a strip, they are super customizable and actually look real.

How long they last depends on your natural lash growth cycle and how well they are maintained, but with proper care they can last up to 4-6 weeks. As your natural lashes fall out on their own, the extensions will come off with them.

The procedure takes roughly two hours, sometimes more, sometimes less. Please allow a solid 3-hour window for your appointment. I likely won’t need that much time, but this isn’t something I want to rush. ext goes here

The different types of lash extensions offered at Thirteen Roses Aesthetics include:
Classic - these are the best option if you are looking for a simple yet beautiful look. Classic lash is excellent for natural enhancement.
Volume - these can create a natural look, with added length and volume and a full and dramatic look. Volume lashes are similar to classic, just with extra volume.
Hybrid - these are a great combination of both classic and volume lashes. Hybrid extensions offer a mixture of textures and volume while looking more natural than volume lashes.
Mega Volume - these extensions use larger volume fans and finer lashes to generate maximum lash thickness for a more dramatic look.

When applied by a trained and skilled technician and cared for correctly, lash extensions should not damage your natural lashes. It's essential to follow aftercare instructions and avoid rubbing or pulling at the extensions to prevent damage to your natural lashes. If you experience any issues or discomfort after your lash extension application, contact us immediately.

Try not to get your new lash extensions wet for 24-48 hours after application so that the adhesive has enough time to fully cure. After that period, you can swim and shower, but you should still try to avoid excessive exposure to heat and steam.
-
Use a gentle, oil-free cleanser with a lint-free applicator or a makeup brush to clean your lashes. Avoid using oil-based products, as they can weaken the adhesive.
-
It's generally not recommended to use mascara on lash extensions, as it can clump and damage the extensions. If you want a more dramatic look, consider getting a fuller set of extensions.
-
If you have sensitive eyes you can still get lash extensions, but it's important to inform us about your sensitivity. We can try using a hypoallergenic adhesive, and a patch test may be recommended.
-
Lash fills are typically recommended every 2-3 weeks to maintain a full and lush appearance as natural lashes shed in their growth cycle.

The safest option is to book a removal appointment. Sage will use adhesive remover specially formulated for the glue used on your extensions and gently remove them one by one. Then, your natural lashes will be cleaned, rinsed, and conditioned to help restore moisture lost during the removal process.
Your other option is to simply wait for them to fall out on their own over the course of several weeks. However, this may take a while, and the lashes will look uneven as they don’t all fall out at the same time.
Whatever you do, do NOT pull on or pick at your extensions - this will absolutely cause damage to your natural lashes.

Unfortunately, I can't. How the skin and eyes will react is different for everyone, and many factors are to be considered. Skin type, sensitivities, facial products used, etc., all play a key role in your results. There are no guarantees in this industry. Please assess the risks before you decide to go for it.
